Mercado Basketball (MB) is a non-profit youth basketball organization with the goal of training and developing youth boys and girls. Mercado Basketball strives to not only develop players on the basketball court, but also off the court. MB was founded in 2013 with the primary goal of aiding aspiring youth hoopsters in their goals through camps, but shortly after, Mercado Basketball branched to an AAU organization. Since 2013, Mercado Basketball has held a large number of basketball camps every winter, spring, and summer break. Additionally, since 2015, MB has had year round AAU teams for grades four through eight, and the program continues to grow. MB is based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, hosting camps and coaching teams along the peninsula.
